EcoheatUK.co.uk

A fascinating new company has been brought to my attention during my travels in EcoheatUK.co.uk . This company sells, over the web, some specialist bathroom fittings which have been the best selling product in Australia for the last few years and are now available here in the UK. The product is called an IXL Tastic which is basically a 3-in-1 infrared heat lamp and a ventilation system combined.

This basically means that you can do away with an unsightly radiator (great news if your bathroom is small and you're already at a premium for space) and your bathroom will still be hot, light and ventilated whilst you're stood in your birthday suit!

And the best news is the IXL Tastic meets the high energy rating standards demanded by eco sensitive and 5 star energy rated homes. So not only will the product look fantastic you'll be doing your bit for the environment as well.

If you're thinking about updating your bathroom best go check it out!!

Karen Gillam - Petite & Petite Plus Clothing

I recently managed to spend some time with Karen Gillam, who runs Dresscode UK and also Karen Gillams Petite Clothing range. Managing to combine her passion for design with a very busy family life, Karen has managed to launch her petite clothing range across the UK; managing 2 launches a week for the last 10!!

In spending time with Karen, I didn't think that I would be able to buy any of her clothes as being a very healthy size 12 and standing at 5ft4" (just!) I thought I would be way too tall - however, in seeing the beautiful designs laid out I couldn't resist trying on a few outfits and to my surprise a handful of them fitted. So it would have been rude of me to leave them on the hanger when I've got perfectly good wardrobe space at home!

Karen delights in assisting vertically challenged people to find clothes that fit them perfectly and enable them to appear taller and slimmer and as an image consultant is a master at choosing the right colour for you and putting a complete outfit together. Never will you have to worry about have a wardrobe full of clothes you can't wear, or buying clothes that simply don't suit and flatter you.

With Christmas around the corner, now is the perfect time for all you gentlemen with petite wives or girlfriends to furnish them with gift vouchers or presents from Karens collection - I can guarantee you'll get a million brownie points!!

The Best of Newbury photo exhibition

Well for the last week or so I've been so snowed under that I haven't put into practise what I have been taught about blogging - so tonight I thought I had better rectify that situation.

Alongside good friends of mine, Neale and Sam James from Breathe Pictures We launched our first (of lets hope many) Best of Newbury photo exhibition which was opened by The Earl and Countess of Carnarvon on the preview night of 2nd November. The exhibition is being held at the Corn Exchange for the next 2 weeks so pop along and take a look. Otherwise - it will be online soon. To see a few examples of the fantastic creative work on display check out Neales blog here

My introduction to 'Blogging'

I attended a seminar yesterday evening at the West Berkshire Business Club and was introduced to the world of Blogging. The view from the guest speaker; Graham Jones, who has investigated the power of blogging in business stated that if you are in business you MUST get a blog as it is going to transform the internet over the next 18 months. Certainly if your service is a consultant or professional speaker a blog could be your main source of income, as over a period of time you will become established as a recognised expert in your field - just by blogging!

It was an extremely thought provoking speech and opened my eyes even further into the power of the Internet.

This is my first blog, and I have to say its very easy!!!!
